Busy days at the Energy Innovation Course Department
This spring is very busy with a lot of course participants. This week in particular, with both GWO Basic courses, GWO Enhanced First Aid and the Service Technician course.
Realistic training requires good makeup and good acting.
It has been a busy week for our course department this week. Between 15 and 24 course participants every day from Monday to Friday.
Equinor has had many of its employees from Hywind Tampen attending the GWO Basic courses this week. Ranging from Working at Height, to First Aid, Manual Handling, Fire Awareness and Sea Survival.
In addition, we have had 9 people through our new GWO Enhanced First Aid course. The course is for those who work far from the rescue service, and especially offshore.
Together with NAV, we started this week with our Service Technician education. It runs over 4 months and is aimed at personnel who need retraining for a new profession. The plan includes blade repair, mechanical, electrical and hydraulic work. As well as HSE through our GWO courses. Incredibly exciting, and with NAV as an invaluable supporter.
